Bridging the worlds of academia and practice, Dr. Alfonzo is the president of Urban Imprint, the Founder of State of Place, a data-driven, community engagement and decision-making tool to optimize walkability and economic development, and an Assistant Research Professor at New York University. Recently she completed a Fulbright award in Shanghai focusing on urbanization, walkability and health has been featured in workshops on pedestrian design for Chinese mayors.
Robert is an experienced hospitality/urban resort and destination specialist committed to “real” sustainable development. He understands the real need to distinguish one’s business strategy from the competition in the market, while providing an end to end truly sustainable hospitality solution. Robert is a musician, photographer, a trained chef, a practitioner of alternative healing, and (he says) a “(somewhat) learned explorer of our world and its peoples.”
Stephane is an architect and planner practicing in Paris, an unqualified expert in the urban history of Paris and urbanism generally, and the author of the popular Paris Reborn: Napoleon III, Baron Haussmann, and the Quest to Build a Modern City. He has a DEA in Architectural History from the Sorbonne, a post-graduate degree in urban law and economics from the Université Paris II Panthéon-Assas and an MBA from the Stern School of Business at NYU.

Jack is an expert in demand response, energy-related big data platforms, microgrids, distributed generation and other key smart grid technologies. He has over 15 years experience in the energy and smart grid fields with Fortune 500 companies, and in 2012 led the Chinese-American cooperative “Smart Grid Demand Response Demonstration Site and Feasibility Research” project.
